Really liquid sounding filter sweeps what technique did you use?
Just a basic sond in LMMS whit no effects
I'm reminded of the Old Die Krupps (German industrial) Metallica cover album from the early 90s. They brought the classic riffs to the electro world with brute force and creative brilliance. You sir have brought the classic sound to a new generation. Its fascinating to hear how popular sound designs change when set to a common theme. Did you play the riffs yourself? well done if you did!
Thank you for the feedback, i really appriciate it. it encourage me to do more of the same. <3
I really love the ambience at the beginning, the soundscape was well chosen, the build up was great too. Excellent track.
Thank you! :)
Very crisp guitar tones, Indeed, I dub the METAL PROPER!
thanks man!
I don't see audio I'm assuming the link and stuff posted on page is it?
I could toy with some things in a day or two we could post it as a visible collaboration if you like. . .just for fun?
The posted here mp3 itself is what the collab material is and yeah, you do can anything with it, it feels no pain. For fun or not.
The FM style synths are nice, Its nice to hear them used as so many tend to avoid FM tones as their OSC of choice. The atmospheric bridges are quite well arranged. To me it sounds like your going for the game music approach which this would work wonderfully for. Its balanced and not to cluttered which makes it safe for having in game action sounds over top.
If however your going for the stand alone track approach it works good for that too. If I had a recommendation bring the lead line up a bit and don't be afraid to let it fly outside the strict 4 bar phrase pattern. Let it climb let it soar. . its great either way though. I wont critique your mix too much cause I'm using cheap headphones. Ill assume its good. . .
Oh, wow thank you so much!
4 bar pattern is a bit of restriction we have, since we have so many people writing at the same time, it would make things very difficult to navigate for our producer, but you're right though, maybe switching to 16 bar phrases would be manageable too. And the mix is a "meh" kind of mix, she's inexperienced and bad at it so it's good to know that it sounds tolerable or at least "unnoticably bad" in cheap headphones at the very least.
So what i'm gonna take from this is - arrangement is alright, but the leading parts need to be longer and louder, right?
I am what you Make of me. What more can I possibly be. . .
